 Stacey Suckerman OTR/L
Stacey has been working at the Performing Arts Occupational Therapy since April 2003.
She qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa) in December 1996. In October 1998 she immigrated to Boston USA, where she converted her qualifications and acquired her OTR/L.
She has 9 years of experience working in a variety of treatment settings including inpatient hospital, long term care, skilled nursing, day programs, home health and private practice. She has also worked with numerous diagnoses focusing primarily on neurological impairments i.e. spinal cord injury, head injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, strokes and upper extremity nerve injuries.
She has gained much knowledge by working for prominent organizations such as Massachusetts Easter Seals Society and Spaulding Rehabilitation hospital.
Her experiences also include working on the insurance aspect of Occupational Therapy, consulting at Mass health’s prior approval unit.
Stacey is married with 2 children, enjoying travel, music and reading.
